Police: Suspects wanted in double teen shooting near Crown Heights train station

The 17-year-old was struck in the left arm while a 16-year-old girl just inside a deli nearby was struck twice in the right leg.

Authorities released new information on the suspected shooter who injured two teenagers near a busy Crown Heights train station Wednesday morning.

Police say the shooting happened just after 9:30 a.m. in front of 821 Franklin Ave. along Eastern Parkway outside of Wise Deli and Grill. Two men walked up to a 17-year-old boy and started arguing with him and slapped him in the face, according to the NYPD.

The 17-year-old tried to run when a shooter fired several gunshots at him. The 17-year-old was struck in the left arm while a 16-year-old girl just inside a deli nearby was struck twice in the right leg.

Both victims are in stable condition at this time.

The suspects took off with one wearing all black and the other wearing a red top and grey jeans. No other information has been released at this time.
