Two men are dead and another is injured following two shootings in Clinton Hill Sunday evening.

Authorities have not confirmed if the shootings, which occurred within a 15-minute timeframe and close proximity, are connected.

Police say that this suspect was spotted dismounting a dark-colored moped outside of 29 Ryerson Street before shooting multiple times, striking two victims. One man was found dead and another man was found at the scene with sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He is currently recovering in a nearby hospital.

Prior to responding to the shelter, police say they were dispatched to a different shooting near Flushing Avenue and Steuben Street. Officers say they found a man in his 30s who was shot in the chest. He was later pronounced dead.

Investigators appeared to be focusing their efforts within Steuben Park.

Authorities say they have not made any arrests in connection with either shooting. However, they have released a photo of the suspect that they are now searching for.

Police have since increased officer presence in the Clinton Hill neighborhood, particularly at the migrant shelter on Ryerson Street and Steuben Park.

The New York Attorney General's office provided the following statement:

"Last night, two people were killed and one critically injured in Clinton Hill as a result of gun violence. My office is working with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and local elected officials to get information about these shootings and inform the community. We must do more to protect our communities from the dangers of gun violence and ensure that all our neighbors have access to the support they need and feel safe on our streets.
