Police say an attempted robbery in a Bronx subway station left a victim and a perpetrator shot on Saturday.
The entrance to the 182-183 Streets Station on the Grand Concourse was blocked off after a struggle between a victim and perpetrator led to a shooting on the mezzanine level downstairs in the subway.
Surveillance video shows both the victim and perpetrator getting carried out by police on a stretcher separately.
Police say around 6 p.m., a 40-year-old man was approached by a 21-year-old man with a gun attempting to rob him.
After a struggle, the perpetrator was shot in the face and the victim was shot in the torso.
Both were taken to the hospital. Authorities say the 21-year-old is in critical condition and he is in custody.
They added that the 40-year-old man is expected to recover.
Police say investigation is ongoing.
