5h agoA fugitive from Connecticut who is believed to be violent has been captured in Brooklyn.
Dakwan Nelson is accused of shooting his girlfriend in Hartford on Feb. 26.
Police say police initially could not find the 19-year-old until Monday when he was arrested.
Extradition is now pending to Connecticut.
Nelson is facing charging including criminal attempt to commit murder.
