Police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run that sent one woman to the hospital.
The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fouth Avenue and Union Street.
Witnesses say the driver sped through a red light and hit a 46-year-old woman.
EMS volunteers say they contemplated chasing the driver, but they realized the patient's condition required medical attention.
One witness did chase down the car to take a picture of the license plate.
EMS took the woman to Lutheran Medical Center, where she is in serious condition.
