Two people are wanted in an attack on a deli owner over a stolen Snapple in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police say.
The NYPD says a man and a woman tried to steal a Snapple drink Monday from the Deli & Grill on Bedford Avenue.
Police say the 44-year-old owner tried stopping them, but that the suspects attacked him after a heated conversation. The suspects stabbed him in the back and punched his face repeatedly, according to authorities.
The suspects then fled. Their whereabouts are unknown.
The owner is currently recovering at a hospital but hopes the two responsible for the attack are held accountable for their actions.
