Police say a 7-year-old is dead after being struck by an armored vehicle Monday on Bath Avenue in Brooklyn. 

Police say the girl was walking south across Bath Avenue when she was struck by a 48-year-old driver making a left onto the avenue. 

The girl was transported to Lutheran Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

Police say the driver remained on the scene and that no criminality is suspected at this time.
