Popular Williamsburg steak house Saint Anslem is set to open after being temporarily closed for five months due to a fire.
The fire ripped through the basement of Saint Anslem back in September.
Jeremy Sarver has been a server at Saint Anslem for more than 11 years.
“It was almost like processing the death of a loved one, there was some real genuine grief there," said Sarver.
After months of repairs, the restaurant is finally ready to open their doors.
Executive chef Adam Demaris says it's been a long time coming.
“People have been coming by, stopping in, asking when we're reopening, What's happening, asking for reservations months and months ago," said Demaris.
Locals, like Janet Chan, say the community has missed having the staple.
"We love it, we're so excited," said Chan.
The restaurant says you can come on in and grab a bite as early as Wednesday.
