The Woodlawn Heights Family Market is closing its doors after nearly 40 years of business in The Bronx.
The store owner says that the shutdown comes after a rent dispute with the property manager. Loyal costumers say losing the market is devastating, especially with several elderly neighbors who don't have another place nearby to get their groceries.
It's unclear what will fill the vacant building, but the community hopes another grocery store will stock the shelves.
