News 12 crews witnessed street flooding at East 211th Street and Wayne Avenue in Norwood, where there were also reports of a possible water main break.

City officials have not yet commented on the situation. A building resident at the scene described what he saw.

“A stream of large amounts of water coming down the street into the drain,” he said. “I just assumed ice was melting, but I guess something broke. It was pretty slippery. And it started to get icy further in the night as it got colder.”

Road conditions in the area remain extremely slippery, and News 12 is encouraging people to stay indoors and use extra caution when traveling.
