A Flatbush senior is in shock and living in fear after allegedly being stabbed by a postal worker.

It happened last Wednesday just before 8 p.m. at 1900 Albemarle Road in Flatbush.

Police arrested 35-year-old Jessica Griffin, who is now charged with two counts of assault and resisting arrest.

Luis Lamboy said he had asked Griffin if he had mail, and she was rude toward him, so he pulled out his cellphone and began recording.

After a few minutes of talking, Lamboy said he was stabbed in the stomach with a large black knife.

He's had to have a dozen staples and stiches in his stomach as a result of the stabbing.

Griffin was charged with assault for attacking another person while on the job back in March 2023.

She is now out on bail.

The United States Postal Inspection Service released the following statement:

"The United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is the law enforcement branch of the United States Postal Service (USPS). We are working diligently with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) on this investigation. To protect the integrity of the investigation, we cannot provide further details at this time.
