There's good news for drivers who are fed up with the pothole-ridden roads in several Brooklyn neighborhoods.
City Councilman David Greenfield has announced that the Department of Transportation will be repaving a number of roads in Midwood, Bensonhurst and Borough Park.
Coney Island Road is among the roads that will get some attention.
Greenfield says the work will begin soon, while people are away on summer vacations and the roads are emptier. The project should be completed by fall, when schools reopen.
