The Pratt Institute has begun restricting pedestrians from taking a shortcut by walking through its Fort Greene campus.
Pratt officials say they closed the school off to outsiders because of construction liability issues, angering Fort Greene residents who have used the campus as a shortcut for decades.
Pratt officials say although they've had a long-standing policy to only allow students, staff and faculty on campus, they may allow outsiders back once construction on the campus is completed later this year.
