A prayer vigil was held in Flatbush Sunday to mourn the loss of those who were killed in Tuesday's terror attack in lower Manhattan, as well as Sunday's shooting at a church in Texas.

The vigil began before the annual 'Celebration of Praise and Thanksgiving" at the historic Kings Theatre.

"Violence cannot hijack our city, our country and our planet. It is attempting to do so. We must come together, people of goodwill and of good faith must raise our voice and ensure that violence does not take away what we need," said Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.

Residents raised their cellphone flashlights high in lieu of candles and had a moment of silence and prayer for the victims.
