President Joe Biden and Air Force One landed at Bradley Air National Guard Base in East Granby, Connecticut Tuesday for local stops.
Biden first headed to Hartford to promote his Build Back Better agenda and highlight the importance of investing in child care to keep costs down for working families.
The president then went to UConn's main campus in Storrs and joined former U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd and other dignitaries at a ceremony to dedicate the Dodd Center for Human Rights.
The center will serve as the home of the university's human rights program and is named after both Christopher Dodd and his father Thomas, who was also a U.S. senator from Connecticut.
Biden delivered the keynote address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy commencement ceremony in New London this past May.
