President Joe Biden will be making his way to
New Jersey Thursday to visit with Gov. Phil Murphy.
Biden will first visit New York before being scheduled to make his way to the Garden State. The president will head to Gov. Murphy's house on the Navesink River.
Middletown Mayor Tony Perry says anyone traveling in the area should expect delays. Perry says Biden is expected to arrive around 4 p.m. and leave the area at about 6 p.m.
Perry says there will be periodic closures of part of Route 35 and the Garden State Parkway northbound.
The president is then expected to participate in a reception for the Democratic National Committee in Red Bank.
