Princeton University has
topped the
Best National University Rankings list for the 12th consecutive year, according to the most recent rankings by U.S. News & World
Report.
The school ranked first
among schools listed in the National Universities category.
The list
uses 10 distinct academic rankings, including graduation and retention rates,
and includes over 400 schools.
“I feel honored to go here
as a student, and it’s really exciting to see them at No. 1
again,” says Jane Kuehl, of Minnesota.
In the top 100,
Rutgers-New Brunswick tied for No. 55, Stevens Institute of
Technology tied for No. 83 and New Jersey Institute of Technology
tied for No. 97. Among public universities, Rutgers ranked No. 19
in the nation, up from No. 23 last year.
