A Brooklyn principal has been keeping her students motivated and energetic on Fridays through her dance moves.
For the past two years, Principal Kathy Gaffney has been welcoming the students at Williamsburg Charter High School by dancing every Friday morning. She says the greeting helps the social and emotional well-being of her students.
"I love my kids, and I want them to understand that I am here for them for all different types of reasons," Gaffney told News 12.
The students agree, saying that her moves make coming to school more fun.
Gaffney says it's important that she teaches her students to plan for the future but live for the day.
