Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella has announced
the arrest of a Wyckoff man on charges of stalking.
According
to the prosecutor’s office, an
individual reported to Haworth police on Aug. 23 that a GPS tracking device was
located on his vehicle.
The prosecutor’s
office says its
investigation revealed Brett Halloran, who is employed as an attorney, was responsible for placing four GPS
tracking devices on vehicles in a repeated and ongoing pattern of stalking
against an individual.
Halloran was charged with fourth-degree stalking. He
was released subject to conditions following a first appearance in Central
Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on Aug. 26.
