Prosecutors revealed a new information on the man convicted of murdering and dismembering Brandy Odom and Canarsie Park back in 2018.
The NYPD says the then 26-year-old was found dismembered at the park after Martin strangled her to death.
Martin and his accomplice Adele Anderson were arrested in 2020.
In court on Thursday, federal prosecutors say Martin watched the TV shows like "The First 48" and "Dexter" to learn more about how to cover up a crime and dismember a body.
The DOJ says Martin's new sentencing date is Nov. 6.
