Protesters of all ages took to the streets Saturday afternoon in hopes of bringing an end to gun violence and honoring the lives lost in East Flatbush.
Every year for nearly a decade, mothers wear T-shirts remembering the sons they lost to shootings while walking down Ralph Avenue.
Monique Waterman, who has organized the march for eight years, says what's really needed is hope.
"This march is to bring awareness, but also to give you the resources with whatever is going on in your life," she told News 12.
The march ended at the Kings Theatre, which was filled with information about job training, health education and college preparation.
