Protesters rally outside Huntington Hospital over vaccine mandates

A group of protesters rallied outside Huntington Hospital Friday over vaccine mandates.
The crowd chanted, "No forced vax, no forced vax."
Some workers say the mandate infringes on their freedom.
"We have an absolute true belief that as an individual we have this right to make this medical decision," said one of the protesters.
Northwell Health responded saying in part: "While we respect everyone's right to free speech and to have their voices heard in a peaceful and civil manner, we as health care professionals and members of the largest health care provider in New York State have a unique responsibility to protect the health of our patients and each other."
