Students from P.S. 192 and I.S. 192 came together today and took a walk to help find a cure for diabetes.
The "Walk to Cure Diabetes" took place in Borough Park, where students marched through the neighborhood to raise awareness.
Before the walk, students gained some awareness of their own, learning about different types of diabetes, how to live a healthy lifestyle and the importance of raising money for diabetes research.
Some students and teachers from the schools told News 12 that they themselves had diabetes, and were glad to see such support from their peers.
