Students at P.S. 55 sang each others' praises today to spread an anti-bullying message for the "I'm a Person" campaign.
The program uses the song "I'm a Person," penned by David Giller in the 1980s. A teacher at the school discovered it 17 years ago, and it eventually became the school's official song.
The song uses positive messages to teach children that they don't need to be shy and can be whoever they want to be.
Campaign organizers say they want to expand the program to other Bronx schools and even take the message on a multi-state tour.
