Students from P.S. 90 gathered near their Coney Island school Monday to have their voices heard while singing "God Bless the USA."
The musical event was organized by some parents and Congressman Bob Turner (R-Brooklyn) after the principal banned the song from graduation.
Many parents say they want their children to show their patriotism, but others argue that they're against the singing demonstration because it used kids to make a statement against their school.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg and schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott say they support any decision the principal makes on student song choices.
