Cutbacks in the New York City Housing Authority has residents and union members ready to take action against the city.
Residents complain that staff cutbacks have left buildings in disrepair, with and garbage strewn inside. NYCHA workers are also angered by the cutbacks that have caused many workers double time just to keep buildings running.
Union President Greg Floyd said if the cuts continue, he would like to take 100,000 residents and workers to protest in Washington, D.C.
?We are going to succeed in getting public housing funded again.?
