Thousands of rabbis from around the world visited Brooklyn this weekend for the 31st International Conference of Chabad Lubavitch Emissaries.
More than 5,000 religious leaders came, some from as far away as Thailand.
Organizers say the gathering is both a means of learning and of networking.
The rabbis say one goal of the Emissaries is to offer spiritual services and provide a home away from home to Jews who travel abroad.
