A building in Williamsburg has partially collapsed following extensive weather damage in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Henri's wake.
Fire officials say no one was injured in the collapse on Skillman Avenue. The rain damage was in the rear yard of the first floor, officials say.
Neighbors tell News 12 no one has lived in the building for at least a decade.
The Department of Buildings inspected the area for safety.
They tell News 12 that they will be keeping some kind of barrier to make sure no one gets too close in the event that the facade deteriorates further.
Parts of Brooklyn saw record-breaking amounts of rain due to Henri, totaling around 9.85 inches.
