Elected officials and community members came together Tuesday at a rally in Williamsburg to demand more information on subway shutdowns.
The Department of Transportation and the MTA have yet to release plans for commuters when the L train tunnel closes for repairs.
The L train is scheduled to shut down to repair damage from Superstorm Sandy for 18 months.
Members at the rally say free bus and ferry service would be a good option as well as a dedicated bus lanes at the Williamsburg Bridge.
