Rats run rampant through Crown Heights complex

Tenants say rats are taking over their Crown Heights apartment building, leaving children sick and parents on edge. The family of 8-year-old Enisjah Samuels says bite marks are evident on the child.

Tenants say rats are taking over their Crown Heights apartment building, leaving children sick and parents on edge.
The family of 8-year-old Enisjah Samuels says bite marks are evident on the child. They blame rodents and fleas at the 260 Buffalo Ave. building. Samuels says she's even scared to go to sleep. Tenant Elsa Guzman complains rats come and go as they please through a gaping hole in her kitchen wall. Guzman now has a cat on patrol to catch the critters. Residents say the problem has lessened their quality of life.
An exterminator for M and B Management argues tenants are refusing service or are not home on their scheduled service dates.
