Recall Alert: Falafel products sold at Aldi may have E.coli

The FDA posted a notice saying Earth Grown Vegan Traditional Falafel and Garlic & Herb Falafel is being recalled because of the possible presence of E. coli.

A brand of falafel sold exclusively at Aldi stores is being recalled.
The FDA posted a notice saying Earth Grown Vegan Traditional Falafel and Garlic & Herb Falafel is being recalled because of the possible presence of E. coli.
The products were distributed in Aldi stores in 38 states, including New York.
So far, there have been 20 cases reported with five people having to go to the hospital.
Symptoms of infection may include stomach cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. The illness primarily impacts elderly individuals, children, and people with weakened immune systems. Most healthy adults and children rarely become seriously ill.
