Pet-loving Brooklyn residents are ecstatic about having 24-hour emergency veterinary care available.
Racey North says her Chihuahua went through a major ordeal recently.
?She fell down an elevator shaft,? says North of her pet dog.
A flustered North says she didn?t know where to turn ? it was 10 p.m. - until the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group took the 7-year-old immediately.
The veterinarians there say their goal is to keep expanding by adding more specialty doctors. They say their next need is a cardiologist.
