The Rent Guideline Board was
set to hold a preliminary vote on rent hikes for stabilized apartments, lofts
and hotels Wednesday.
The board’s decision will
affect anyone living in the nearly 1 million rent-stabilized apartments
across New York City.
In June 2020, the board
decided to keep rents flat for one-year leases, including a 1% increase during
the second year of two-year leases that started in October 2020.
The meeting started at 7 p.m.
and was available for viewing on YouTube via the Rent Guideline Board homepage.
