Report: Man accused of assaulting EMT worker called police because he was drunk

According to a Daily News report, a man who allegedly punched an EMT worker in Midwood called 911 on himself that day because he was drunk.
They say 43-year-old Hussain Maqubool punched the worker while he was receiving treatment in the back of an ambulance then ran off.
Police say it took weeks to track him down.
Maqubool is now facing assault charges.
