A grand jury has indicted two NYPD members for allegedly raping a young woman inside an unmarked police van, according to multiple published reports.
Sources say both suspects are detectives in the Brooklyn South Narcotics Division. And although the district attorney's office hasn't commented on the reported indictment, the NYPD has confirmed that both of them have been suspended without pay.
The accused detectives are Richard Martins and Edward Hall. The purported victim says they sexually assaulted her after picking her up in a Coney Island park for drug possession.
She is accusing them of taking her from the park to a nearby parking lot, handcuffing her in the van and pressuring her into performing sex acts.
