Residents say a small block in Sheepshead Bay has gone unnoticed for too long after its street sign was blown over during Superstorm Sandy.
Residents say it's easy to miss Lincoln Terrace. In February, a woman on the street had chest pains and had to wave down an ambulance because medics could not find her street.
A Department of Transportation spokesperson says it's a private street and that the city agency is not responsible for the street sign.
One resident says the Department of Transportation put up a sign on Lake Avenue, the next block over, and she doesn't understand why they can't do the same for Lincoln Terrace.
After a call from News 12 Brooklyn, the FDNY said it would make sure a sign goes up.
