Residents in Bay Ridge are demanding more progress on repairing a massive sinkhole on 92nd Street.
The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) met with community members Thursday night to address their concerns, which include strong odors, loud noises and a lack of parking since the gaping hole opened up in June.
Alternate side parking has been suspended in parts of the neighborhood to help alleviate some of the stress.
Officials say repairs began this morning, and, crews say they hope to have everything back to normal by the end of the year.
