Bikers and runners have been dealing with a pothole situation along Shore Promenade in Bay Ridge.
They say they are forced to look down to avoid potholes instead of enjoying the view of the Verrazano Bridge or the water. The Parks Department says engineers are working on a site plan with the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Transportation to explore the necessary steps to resolve the problem.
Some residents have temporarily blocked off the holes with cones, but say they are still not that visible.
One biker told News 12 that he fell and hurt his shoulder after hitting one of the potholes.
