Brooklyn bars offered locals a St. Patrick's Day celebration away from the parade route in Manhattan Thursday.
The Leif, located on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge, supplied patrons with music from a live band with bagpipes, as well as cold drinks and free corned beef and cabbage.
Some patrons said they have been celebrating St. Patrick's Day at the bar for years.
