As asylum seekers continue to seek refuge in the city, a resource fair in the Bronx is extending services to ensure they’re getting all the help they can.
Affinity by Molina Healthcare and the African Advisory Council are organizing the event on East 149th Street for the thousands of migrants from border states.
Chairman of the African Advisory Council Mohammed Mardah hopes their services can help set them on the right path.
"…These [resources] are available and a lot of them are free. Some of them are going out to pay lawyers to take their cases, and they didn't have to do any of that,” he said.
