Hundreds in the city's restaurant industry took to the streets of Manhattan Monday to send a message that more must be done to help them.

Restaurant owners and staff members marched to Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office on 41st Street, saying the state and city have not done enough to help them during the pandemic.

They demand the city extend its 25% occupancy limit for indoor dining to 50%.

They also want more support for the Restaurants Act, which would provide a $120 billion relief fund if it passes in Congress. They say the more than 160,000 restaurant workers need this relief to survive.

Some of the marchers tell News 12 the first step must be to increase indoor dining capacity to 50% and that they'll keep fighting until that happens.
