The Rev. Al Sharpton joined New York's elected officials at the National Action Network's House of Justice Monday to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy.
The speakers presented on how they are incorporating Dr. King's principles into all facets of government.
Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said that she fights every day to make sure the Bronx has public safety and fairness. She also called on fellow government leaders to help the borough.
Clark reasserted that in her role as DA, she would continue to stand up for victims of crime but also be willing to give second chances when deserved.
