Hundreds of religious leaders and churchgoers from around the city gathered in Cadman Plaza in Brooklyn before marching across the Brooklyn Bridge, hoping to send a message to the city that they should be allowed to worship in public schools.

The march across the bridge led the group to City Hall, where they protested Mayor Michael Bloomberg's and the Department of Education's decision to evict houses of worship from public schools.

Religious leaders at the rally say the city has given them until the end of the academic year to leave the schools. Mayor Bloomberg's office says they'll leave the final decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.
