Looking to have a smashing good time? News 12 found the perfect place for to get your energy out that's a mini-workout and therapeutic. News 12 provides an inside look at Raze Up Smash Therapy in Mott Haven.

Matt Newcombe, the co-owner of the center, says just pick a smash tool and the room is yours. Newcombe knew the pandemic took a toll on everyone and wanted to bring something fun and exciting but also therapeutic to Mott Haven.

"We’ve got a regular 5-pound sledgehammer, we have 2-pound sledgehammers, golf clubs, baseball bats," he says.

It’s a space to alleviate stress and rage by picking up various items like televisions, glass items and more.

Raze Up finds its smash items from all over the city and is looking for donations. Afterward, everything is recycled.
