Runners are lacing up for tomorrow’s Brooklyn Half Marathon! If you’re planning on running or being in the area, below is some important transit and traffic information.
There will be no train service for the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 lines at the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum station between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday.
No. 2 and No. 3 trains will resume service at Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum at 9 a.m.
To reach corrals AA-F from Manhattan, customers can take the Brooklyn-bound No. 2, No. 3 or No. 4 to Franklin Av. To reach corrals G-L from Manhattan, customers can take the Brooklyn-bound No. 2 or No. 3 to Grand Army Plaza or the Coney Island-Stillwell Av-bound Q to Seventh Avenue.
Commuters can also take the No. 2 and No. 3 lines to Grand Army Plaza or the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue-bound Q line to Seventh Avenue.
There will be no F service between Kings Highway and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue and no D train service between Bay 50th Street and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
Several local and express bus routes throughout the city will be affected by street closures throughout the day. For bus routes, commuters are encouraged to visit the MTA website and check for status updates.
Many roads are expected to be closed from Brooklyn Museum to Coney Island starting Saturday at midnight, including Eastern Parkway. Click here to check all other parking restrictions.
