? Hundreds of runners braved the cold at Prospect Park?s Cherry Tree Race Saturday.
The 10-mile run equals three laps around the park. Runners say they would do it again, despite the high winds and 35-degree temperature. Runner Benjamin Gutman says after the first mile, his body temperature was on the rise and so was his adrenaline. He was just one of 500 participants. Mike Nehr crossed the finish line first in just under one hour.
The temperature at last year?s race was 15 degrees.
