Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders held a campaign rally outside his childhood home in Brooklyn Friday.
The senator spoke before a large gathering of voters outside of his childhood home on East 26th Street in Midwood. 
Sanders graduated from James Madison High School in Brooklyn where he was captain of the track team.
According to his website, Sanders also ran for student body president at James Madison High, but was not elected. However, he was elected class president and later went on to attend Brooklyn College before transferring to the University of Chicago.
Sanders later attended a rally in Greenpoint.
