Hurricane Sandy has derailed the campaigning schedules for both President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney.

Obama will no longer meet with former President Bill Clinton in Ohio and will instead stay in Washington to focus on emergency management. Vice President Joe Biden will take his place. The president has also canceled a trip to Colorado that was planned for Tuesday.

Romney was forced to cancel weekend events in Virginia because of the storm, and his upcoming itinerary is subject to change. He's made a campaign bus available for relief purposes and posted a blog with weather-related advice.

Both candidates have also temporarily suspended political emails to voters on the East Coast who will likely be impacted by the weather.
