Sanitation workers are preparing Wednesday as snow begins to fall in Brooklyn.
Workers gathered outside a salt yard in Sunset Park in anticipation for the nor'easter.
The snow coated parked cars and began to leave a slushy accumulation on the streets and sidewalks.
The streets and sidewalks are becoming slippery.
Heavy snow could leave up to 10 inches on the ground by the time the storm is over later Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Bronx until 4 a.m. Thursday.
Parts of the state could see upwards to a foot of snow.
