6h agoThe Saugerties gun show will not go on this weekend, following a back-and-forth between the Town of Saugerties and event organizers.
It was originally canceled in the wake of the mass shootings in Buffalo and in Texas, but New East Coast Arms Collectors Associatio President David Petronis had reversed the decision.
The Saugerties Town Board took it to a vote and agreed to cancel the show and refund Petronis for using the arena.
Petronis has yet to comment on the board's decision.
